Huntingtin and Huntington's Disease

About the Site

This website was created as a project for Genetics 677: Genomics, Proteomics, and Bioinformatics in the Spring of 2009 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  The class is run by Ahna Skop, PhD. with the goal of gaining a better understanding of the bioinformatic tools currently available and how we can utilize them to understand the genetic basis of a human disease.  The class website gives more information, as well as links to other projects by students in the class

About me

I'm a 22 year old senior genetics major at UW-Madison.  I'll be graduating May 2009, with the goal of becoming a physician.  I chose the class to help learn about the current use of bioinformatics in research and to see how it eventually leads to clinical applications.  I have very little else to say about myself other than I like to travel, so if anyone wants to go somewhere just drop me a line.  Thanks for visiting my site, and I'd appreciate any comments you may have on how to improve it.
